Business Plan Development Class BP Competition
As part of the entrepreneurship concentration, undergraduate students are required to take the Business Plan Development course. Throughout the semester, teams work on developing a Business Plan using the Lean Canvas concept. At the end of the semester, entrepreneurs are invited to judge the pitches.
The competition starts with an Elevator Pitch. Each team is given 90-seconds to pitch their business. No Q&A is allowed during this part of the competition. The judges then determine who they want to see present their 5-minute pitch. It might be one team, five teams, or all the teams, it's up to the judges! The teams selected then pitch, with the judges then determining if there is a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Again, the judges can just give everyone "honorable mention".
Next Business Plan Development competition will be: Wednesday, May 8th, 4:30-7:30pm, McCoy 126. Please email email@example.com if you are interested in attending and watching this event in person. If you are interested, please let us know and we will provide you with additional information.
